As we turn each page, we explore the architecture of the book and of the galleries. Quiet, layered and exposed, the book looks back to an older way of doing things, and is physically shaped by slowly looking at Anj Smith’s painting. Each page is french-folded at the ‘head’, to expose the binding process in a way that is both ancient and new.”
