Presenting.. The Reading Room! An exhibition of furniture and objects by twelve queer artists and designers, presented in partnership with Tenderbooks in the Brompton Design District during London Design Festival 12-20 September.
The aim of this exhibition is to create a space for reading, looking, curiosity, conversation and exchange, considering how queer perspectives can shape objects and environments around us. The works sit alongside a selection of books spanning art, design, architecture and material and queer culture carefully selected by bookstore and publisher Tenderbooks.
This exhibition sits inside Alex Tieghi-Walker's wider curation of the Brompton Design District, feeling it was important to have this gentle little moment amongst it all.
