Please join us on Thursday 2 July, 6-8pm for the launch of The Boy is Beautiful, Heterotopias.
Taking place during London Pride week, The Boy is Beautiful invites guests to gather for an evening of readings, conversations and conviviality.
The evening will open with a welcome from The Boy Is Beautiful team reflecting on the conceptual axis of the issue, followed by author Prishita Maheshwari-Aplin (Roses of Hedone) who will be reading from Beyond the Kama Sutra, an exploration of contemporary
kink culture in India and its entanglements with sexuality, identity, desire, and social change, off the pages of Issue #5. This will be followed by readings of original poetry from the new edition, curated by poet Kostya Tsolakis.
The Boy is Beautiful is an Anglo-Greek magazine of mythical proportions setting out to unravel the thread of queer Greek chronicles, from myth and history to contemporary life.
