In June 2017, London's menswear heroes YMC set out with a small team to Athens to meet local photographer and editor of Kennedy Magazine, Chris Kontos, to shoot the brand's SS18 collection. Moving around the historic neighbourhoods of Athens to the worn out corners of the city's port Piraeus and the underground tavernas to the outskirts of the Acropolis, YMC and Chris Kontos showed a rather unsung part of the city and its character through the pictures they produced. The images were part of YMC's showroom in Paris Men's Fashion week last summer, and this is their first debut in London at Tenderbooks, a show comprising of a small selection from the vast material shot in the Greek capital last summer.
