Invisible Tapestry Vol.3
£20.00
Invisible Tapestry weaves together in-depth conversations with artists exploring lived experience in ways that aren’t always fully visible or voiced.
The third issue features interviews with Tomoko Hojo, Ain Bailey and Soyoung Hyun. Moving through themes of listening, memory, connection and grief, the interviews reflect on how these themes take shape in each artist’s practice and how we relate to ourselves and others.
Tomoko Hojo is an artist working within the fluidity between sound, music and performance. Her work explores historically silenced voices, bodily restraint and the thresholds between sound and silence, often engaging with archives, memory and the politics of audibility.
Ain Bailey is an artist, composer and DJ whose work brings together sound, listening, the moving image and workshops to explore how we experience the world around us. Spanning installation, performance, composition and broadcast, her immersive projects create shared spaces for connection, reflection and collective encounters across contemporary art and music cultures.
Soyoung Hyun (si jeune montagne) is a Korean-born artist based in Paris who explores traces of memory, organic textures and ever-changing phenomena. Working primarily with ceramics, she captures fleeting movements within a fixed medium, translating ephemeral states and shifting forms into tangible gestures.
