Honk - Stephen Belowsky
£12.00
Manchester-born poet Stephen Belowsky honed his craft writing poetry in New York’s Lower East Side in the 1980s.
He later became immersed in the anti-folk scene at the Sidewalk Café and the Bowery Poetry Club, where his work developed a steady following. Writing on San Francisco, LA and the East Coast, he gained equal inspiration from Hollywood, whilst performing at The Standard hotel on Sunset Boulevard. His poems are marked by a journalistic urgency, appearing in various magazines as well as recordings on Alan McGee’s Creation23 label.
This is his first collected volume of poetry
