Somewhat soiled to one side with a small tear at the upper portion of the bag.
After relatively humble beginnings as a women's clothing boutique in West London the Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki embarked on a major venture to open a seven-floor department store nicknamed 'Big Biba'. The new Biba boasted a grand Art Deco interior where every floor had its theme and was lavishly decorated. The store not only offered the iconic Biba clothing and accessories but also a restaurant, children's department, homewares and a large food hall in its basement.
