Please join us on Wednesday 23rd November at 1pm Uk time for TenderChats, our ongoing series of live conversations. We invite V&A photographer George Eksts to discuss Reverses, recently published by CentreCentre.
Reverses is a celebration of unintentional creativity – artwork found in the V&A collection created by marks, damage, fragments of sketches, notes and remnants of reuse found on the reverse, or verso, of a finished piece. Each image is a clue to the object’s history, ownership and maker’s process, allowing us to complete a view that is normally hidden. In Reverses George Eksts brings together 150 intriguing works from the ‘wrong’ side of the paper.
TenderChats is an ongoing series of 30-minute musings on the magic and permanence of printed matter. A twice-monthly series of live conversations will be hosted by writer and publisher Dal Chodha on Instagram TV @tenderbooks.
