For the 9th issue of the chameleon magazine Buffalo Zine, we were invited into Fashion’s Kitchen: a gastronomic odyssey through the parallel worlds of food and fashion. Just in time for Christmas, the Buffalo team will now be taking over the windows of Tenderbooks to cook up a fabulously festive mise-en-scène.
A hardbound cookbook with over 130 recipes from fashion’s great and good, the issue explores everything from haute cuisine to haute couture, fast fashion to fast food. For the Tenderbooks window, Buffalo are taking us behind the scenes of their very fashionable dinner party: with napkins printed with recipes from the issue pegged up to dry and dish drainers filled with copies of the magazine, with four delicious covers photographed by Roe Ethridge. Washing-up gloves and Fairy liquid not provided.
