Excellent book made to accompany an exhibition of the same title at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum in 2020. Curated by founder of here and there journal Hayashi Nakako, the show attempted to explore the relationship between photography and fashion through photographs and rare fashion magazines. The publication primarily features work by Ellen Fleiss, Takashi Homma and Anders Edstrom. A forward to the book states: 'As the world of fashion has evolved, photography has played a pivotal part in conveying the appeal of garments by fashion designers. At times, images created by photography have appealed more than the garments themselves, and such iconic imagery has symbolised the age.'
