Beautiful, intimate little book bringing together a selection of photographs of the works of sculptor Valentine Schlegel taken by her friend Agnes Varda. As the blurb says: 'The title of this book, La Maison de Rosalie, was borrowed from a small sculpture made by Valentine Schlegel in 1959 which represents her friend Agnes Varda pregnant with Rosalie. Rosalie herself assembled works by Valentine and Agnes. These works intermingle at her house to this day, just as the two artists' lives intermingled in Sete, on Rue Daguerre and elsewhere.'
