Garden Today - Wako Ishiguro

Wako Ishiguro is a London-based Japanese artist. This book features about 100 paintings from a series she created, reflecting her dedication to painting, her fascination with plants, and her exploration of the endless possibilities of collaboration between colours and forms. It expresses multiplication and the presence of still-unorganised elements through the simultaneous spread of four paintings. However you open the pages, the colours and forms layer as if it were a garden. 

Bound with coptic binding originating in Ancient Egypt, using threads dyed with plants picked in London, and with oil-painted elements glued and letterpress-printed type on the cover, Japanese craftsmanship is reflected with London's natural gifts.
