The incredible first book by Shinoyama that would cement his reputation as master of the nude. Widely considered to be one of the most important photobooks of the 20th Century and a landmark in 1960s nude photography. The large-scale format with its iconic cover design, heavy colour-saturated sections and fold-outs combine to form a complex and radical piece of photo publishing. Art Direction by Gan Hosoya, Illustration by Makoto Wada and with texts by Yukio Mishima and Mankato Wada.
