A seminal work by Kurokawa published in the same year as the Osaka expo '70. Kurokawa was a pioneer of the Japanese Metabolist Movement in architecture, where a city is viewed as a living organism and that architecture in turn must reflect this state as an evolving entity constantly in flux. This multi-media publication acts as a visual scrapbook with dynamic graphics and imagery showing constructions of the Expo pavilions. In addition a graphic poster and a vinyl record with 'Music for Living' reflects Kurokawa's radical holistic approach. Kurokawa's work would later be influential to the practice of Archigram as well as geodesic architecture.
