Kong,空 - Booklet

This booklet is an extension of the book Kong, 空. It is a rediscovery of the concept of emptiness—something essential in our lives, yet often overlooked.

By emptiness (in Chinese, 空 / kong), I refer not only to the absence of things, but also to gaps in time, boundaries within power, autonomy in education, freedom in expression, spaces within relationships, and beyond. I believe that everything that shapes our world must find a dynamic balance with emptiness in order to reach its most harmonious state.

This booklet gathers objects, thoughts, and experiences that relate to the artist’s understanding of emptiness. I hope it offers readers—even if only for the time spent turning its pages—a moment to pause, to breathe, to rest—a brief passage of kong.
