An incredible work by Kenmochi documenting the drugs epidemic in Japan during the 1960s. Kenmochi's photographs highlight the cultural realities of post-war Japan where drugs introduced by American soldiers had led to a nationwide crisis. Kenmochi worked with the Japanese Ministry of Health using his photography to advocate for social change as well as highlighting human rights violations in drugs investigations.
