Ile Okàn. House of the Soul. - Bisila Noha

The Ile Ọkàn book will take you deeper into the meaning, feelings and experiences behind the works Bisila Noha presented during her first UK solo show Ile Ọkàn (House of the Soul) at Omved Gardens in March 2026.

Similarly to the show, the book brings together a range of genres and writing styles, through which Bisila connects to the subconscious activity that takes place as she creates, shares with all of us some of her travels and simply pushes her writing practice.

In an attempt to democratise her art and make it as accessible as possible, the book is also a way for more people to engage with Bisila’s practice. For you to take it home and dive into it at your own pace, holding onto it forever.

The book has been designed by Samar Maakaroun (Pentagram) and printed by Roy Killen; with photography by Bisila Noha and Christian Cassiel.
