Born out of Seo Hye’s 2021 online residency, this book collects a sequence of blog entries shaped during a period of post-Covid solitude. What begins as a record of research and experiment gradually shifts into a diary of thought, following the artist’s enquiry into the language of subtitles—how words can summon sound, distort it, or slip into silence. The book stands as a companion to the moving image work of the same title, later presented at MIMA, the V&A, Kunsthalle Bremen, and Bärenzwinger Berlin.
