Her artist book False Witness opens with a list of phrases compiled from a database at the Registration Centre for Asylum Seekers in Ter Apel, Netherlands. The publication includes photography shot by Cennetoğlu over a period of five years in France and Ecuador as well as interior views of the asylum centre in Ter Apel, to which the opening text relates. False Witness as a book object is intended as an exhibition space in its own right, using the space of the book as a 'corridor' echoing the journey of the asylum seeker inside the architecture of the registration centre.
