Small Print
Veronica Ditting is always thinking about ratio.
Tuesday 16 December, 6-8pm
Join us for drinks on Tuesday 16 December, 6-8pm for the opening of Small Print: an exhibition featuring Veronica Ditting’s miniature book collection.
Words and images have always been carried close to our bodies. Since the invention of the printing press, poetry, prayer, philosophy and pornography have all found their way into our pockets. These ‘one-hand’, miniature or thumb books are intimate objects that force us to pay attention to the tiniest of details: the bend of a page; the width of a line; the heft of a spine. They tell us the printed object is defined by tactility and technicalities. With eccentric proportions, these miniature books revive why we read.
In this window vitrine exhibition, creative director Veronica Ditting has arranged just over 100 rare miniature books from her collection together with new titles for sale by Tenderbooks. Miniature titles will be for sale from Isolarii, Hanuman Editions, Faith in Arts, SPBH editions, Spiral House, amongst a special selection of self published and rare books.
Window vitrine exhibition runs until Tuesday 6 January, 2026.
