A Writer’s Diary by Namhee Kwon | 18 – 21 September
Namhee Kwon will be presenting her new publication project A Writer’s Diary from Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 September.
This project takes the form of an artist book following research into the diaries of Virginia Woolf. Namhee Kwon’s new self-published book is a handwritten transcription of 296 pages of Woolf’s diary, produced intensively by the artist over an eight month period. The book is designed by Julien Imbert and printed at Imprimerie Launay in Paris.
Namhee Kwon is a Korean conceptual artist. Interested in representing literary and poetic impressions of everyday life through a visual language, and using text and symbols to alter the visual perceptions of her surroundings.
