Zadie Xa: House Gods, Animal Guides and Five Ways 2 Forgiveness

This publication (the artist's first dedicated catalogue) celebrates Zadie Xa’s multimedia exhibition: House Gods, Animal Guides and Five Ways 2 Forgiveness. Running from September 202​2 to April 202​3 at the Whitechapel Gallery, the exhibition is the largest commission to date by Xa in the UK. Featuring complete installation photography, the publication also includes a curatorial introduction by the exhibition's curators Tarini Malik and Inês Costa, new essays by Lucia Pietroiusti, Ana Teixeira Pinto and Wong Binghao, a commissioned poem by Daniella Valz Gen and documentation of the artist’s past exhibitions and performances.
