A samizdat Beat publication from ‘90s post market crash Britain that was produced by a very active bootlegger, who was himself bootlegged out of business by a younger generation using rewritable CDs. Banal Retentive Recordings were once stocked in some of the large high street department book stores of London and the British Library’s Sound Archive also acquired some recordings.
