A fine copy.

Scarce programme for Michael Clark's ballet I am Curious, Orange performed at the Sadler's Wells Theatre in 1988. A seminal production which included a specially commissioned soundtrack performed live by The Fall. Mark E Smith of The Fall had been tasked to write a score exploring the psyche of William of Orange, with the performance marking the tercentenary of William of Orange invading England. The production  included lighting by Charles Atlas and costume design from BodyMap and Leigh Bowery.

The ballet offered a post-punk satire on sectarianism via a camp, queer aesthetic. One reviewer describes 'a huge green telephone, a carton of McDonald's fries lowered gently from the roof, and spilling its contents over the dancers who fall down dead, an execution where a plaster head goes flying, Brix getting wheeled in on a giant Big Mac, and incredibly, Mark E Smith looking downright dapper'. The pamphlet is styled after a football programme picturing the Michael Clark Company dressed in Celtic t-shirts.
