The second volume of the iconic large format unstapled zine published biannually by Comme des Garçons from 1988 that acted as a conceptual look-book for their latest collection. Rei Kawakubo envisioned the magazine as an exploration of the sixth sense. The large-scale gives room here to commissions from Gilbert & George, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Peter Lindbergh and Leiko Ikemura together with beautifully sequenced archival imagery from an array of sources. An ambitious visual scrapbook that gives an incredible insight into the Comme aesthetic. Kawakubo comments: "High fashion has to have a mystery about it. This is the next step: visual representation of the collection, purely for image."
