The latest publication from Zegris Books presents the interwoven stories of iconic Brussels designer store STIJL, the Dansaert neighbourhood in which it sits and Belgian fashion since the store's opening at the time of the Antwerp Six. Imagery spanning fourty years brings to life the store's history and the work of designer's such as Martin Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten and Rick Owens. Edited by fashion editor Aya Noel (1Granary) and featuring essays by Jesse Brouns, Elisabeth Clauss, Anne-Francoise Moyson and Veerle Windels, the publication is an expression of multilingual Brussels with essays written in a balance of French, Dutch and English.
