Josef Albers (1888-1976) was a German-born artist and educator who taught at both the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College. The collection reveals the broad scope of how the foundation has carried on the couple's legacy over the years. Also featured are the non-profit's many donations to international museums, including rarely shown artworks. With contributions by architects Manuel Herz and Toshiko Mori, designers Paul Smith and Christopher Farr, and many more, plus archival material and art.
