Lotus Laurie Kang: In Cascades is the first book by the New York based artist. Comprising two new photographic series; poetry by the award-winning CAConrad; and an essay by writer Estelle Hoy. These contributions feature alongside original texts by the exhibition’s curator Amy Jones and curator Victoria Sung. From genetics and family migrations to somatic rituals and unfixed material processes, this book is a testament to the fullness of a practice that emerges from the spaces in-between.
